Language Arts:
We have finished our novel study on Tiger Rising. We will take a quiz on Tuesday to monitor our comprehension of what we learned during this unit. We will review theme and how the theme of the story will cause characters to change and learn in a story.
Math:
This week we will continue or study of multiplication strategies. We will be working on the partial products methods as well as the standard algorithm to solve up to 1 x 4 digits and 2 x 2 digits.
Social Studies:
We will continue our Unit on Early Texas History.
Science:
This week we will be exploring mixtures and solutions and ways we can separate them into their original components.
Color Run:
Please check your child's take home folder for information about this year's Color Run Fundraiser. The t-shirt form must be returned by TUESDAY!
Fall Conferences:
We will have a day for parent / teacher conferences on Friday, October 7th. So we can get everything organized, please fill out this form to let us know the best way to meet with you.
