Report Cards
Report cards for the 2nd grading period went out today.  Please follow the directions below to access your learners report card.

Please make sure that you are reading the Principal Newsletter each week as it will have more information about events and important reminders that we will not have in our BLOG.  Please click the picture below and it will take you to the newsletter.

Yearbooks
Our yearbook sale is now open! Each year we have a Town Center Yearbook that highlights photos from every class, school events, and staff. It is a great item to have to look back on memories from the year, and we even have a yearbook signing party in May. If you are interested in purchasing a yearbook, please see the graphic below for the different purchasing options. As a reminder, the TCE Yearbook cost WAS NOT included in the TCE Trail Pass. If you would like a yearbook for your child(ren), you will need to purchase using the website link below.

Our yearbook committee would also love your help in submitting photos for the yearbook. As you attend campus events, if you have any photos you would like to share, see below for information on uploading them to our committee.

Dads Club

DadsClubV

Thank you to the dads that have taken time at TCE on Fridays to volunteer. For clarification, any amount of time you can give would be great. If you only have time to be there at drop-off or for a specific time frame, we would still love for you to sign-up.

As a reminder, we are having "Dads Club on Campus Day" at TCE. This is currently scheduled for Fridays, and they are able to sign-up to spend time at TCE supporting the campus and classrooms in different ways. This may include:

  • Welcoming students to school during morning arrival
  • Helping in classrooms, the office, or PE as requested by teachers
  • Joining staff for lunchroom duty
  • Re-shelving books in the library
  • Car line dismissal and high fives to end the day

**In order for the campus to coordinate scheduling, please sign-up at least a week in advance.

If you would like to sign up to receive Dads Club Communications, you can email your contact information to Nick Walther at tceptodadsclub@gmail.com.

iPads

TCE 4th graders should come to school each day with their iPad and charger. Please ensure your child charges his/her iPad each evening. Your child should also check periodically to ensure his/her iPad's software is up to date (settings --> general --> software update).
Learners will continue filling in a "Charge Bank" to keep track of their daily iPad battery charge.  We hope this helps learners to become responsible for making sure their iPad is fully charged and in their backpacks each morning.  Below, is the daily tracker they will fill out each morning when they arrive to school.

Please remember school issued iPads are for school use only.  We do random iPad checks every few weeks. We reminded the students daily that school issued iPads are not for personal photography, books, or communicating with friends or parents via emails or chats, or watching videos on you tube that were not assigned by their teacher. It would help us out if you could reinforce this home.
